36 Weeks
I was quite depressed today and wanted to cry on the exam table when the Dr. said I am only 2 cm, and your "cervix is still quite high and thick". I really haven't progressed any in 10 days!!! I know whether or not I have this baby in 1 week or 3 weeks, she's coming SOON regardless, so I should just grin and bear it. He also said based on the computers calculations from the sonogram, she's weighing in at around 8 lbs already, but he doesn't think she's quite that big. Now this time around I am really scared I am going to have a 10 lb baby!!! It was something I worried greatly about with Geddy, and he turned out to be 7 lbs 5 oz. I am just worried about being able to deliver a large baby. Cross your fingers for me!

No fun to hear you are progressing! And I remember being TERRIFIED of having a huge baby with Zac. They kept telling me he was a big baby. Then he was only 7 lbs 10 oz, but that was 2 weeks early. I can't imagine if I would have made it to 40 weeks. I'll be praying for an easy delivery. All in God's perfect timing!
I soooo don't believe those doctors when they guess at how big the baby is. 9 times out of 10 they are wrong. And you're only 36 weeks. Girl, you aren't even full term yet. Try to relax (I know that is so hard to do right now) but that will help speed things along. Thinking good thoughts for you...but not until your are full term!
I don't think you will have a huge baby. A lot of times those sonograms are not right with the weight. I have had one 6lb. and 2 8lb. babys so no worries. After your first it is a lot easier to deliver a little bigger baby. Hope all goes well for you. Maybe we will have our babies around the same time. Where are you delivering at.
I hate when you aren't progressing and you feel like you should be. I had two over 8 lbs. I did fine and you will too. Especially since this is your second. Just hang in there a little longer. You look fantastic by the way. If you need anything please let me know, even if in the middle of the night, I'm just a lawn walk away. :)
Ah, no progress sucks!! Keep up that positive attitude. It's almost over. :)
You can do it! My smallest was 7 lbs 10 oz. My biggest was 9 lbs 3 oz. And the biggest was the EASIEST birth I had. She will be adorable, just let her finish bakin'. :)
(Easily said when I'm not the expecting momma!)
you are almost there... I was thinking about you last night and today. hang there... i can't wait to see the 10 lb. princess, jk. I am sure all will go well.
