36 Weeks - 7 lbs?!?!?

I went to the Dr. again today. It was my 36 week ultrasound to give me an idea of how big my B I G guy is! The Dr. said he can't be sure, but the ultrasound machine "calculated" that he is 7 lbs already! So I think he is ready to come...don't you? No really, on November 30 I will be 37 weeks, so I am fine if he comes any time after Nov. 30!!! But I am sure it's better if he stays in longer. I just can't wait to see him, see what his wrinkly little face is going to look like. See who he is going to look like...more like Brennan or more like me, or a good mix of us both! I am so excited to meet him, and see how my whole life is going to change (that part is a little scary I do admit!)

BYU vs. UTAH

You can tell my husband is a huge football fan...can't you???...I think he was the only one at the party who didn't have BYU paraphernalia on! No really, to all the women out there-I feel for you. Fortunately :) I can't relate to what it's like to have a crazed sports fan for a husband, and I am actually grateful for that from all the stories I hear about men missing during the football season! "Funny things are everywhere"

This is my very cute and funny doggie Roxi. She got a haircut recently, because I couldn't stand the thought of her hair all over my precious child coming to our home shortly. After she was all nice and clean I washed her bed (had to take the stuffing out of course), and this is what Brennan found her doing...she just couldn't not lay "in her bed." Although you will notice she is just laying in the middle of the stuffing, which is normally inside her bed cover!

Week 35 - "2 possibly 3"

Hello. I went to the Dr. today and he said "Well you are 2 possibly 3 cm. dialated, and his head is way low." Those who have had babies, of course know that it's not uncommon to be 2 cm. for weeks! And of course, I don't want to have this baby for at least another 2 weeks - so here's to hoping. Speaking of his head being "way low" - yah, I could totally tell that was the case. Not to get too graphic but I can tell something is down there, right there, like if I reached in I could touch his head. I am excited to be dialated, and the Dr. said "it's good" but he also said "well if your water breaks or you go into labor, go straight to the hospital." I am assuming he's just getting me prepared for the idea that I could go into labor in a few weeks, or who knows it might be 5 weeks!

Last of the Showers

Saturday marked my last shower. I was so very blessed to have not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 showers! Mom threw this shower for me on Saturday. We held it at my house. A lot of the people that came had never before seen my house and we have lived here 5 years...sorry guys! It was great to see all my loved ones that I don't see a lot and have them come spend a couple of hours in my sanctuary...my home. All my sisses were there, plus cousins, aunts, and grandma!

Smoot Shower

Friday night was the Smoot Family Shower. It was so wonderful. I love spending time with my great Smoot Family! It was so relaxed, fun, and comfortable. Thank you to my mother in law who is, mind you, the BEST mother in law on the planet. Thank you to all my great sister in laws, who are the BEST sister in laws on the planet. Thanks to everyone else who came to my shower, and for your thoughtful and very cool gifts! (Love the diapers and "boob bottle" Annie!).

Swilor Family Shower
