Happy Halloween!!!

Geddy was an octopus this year. I made the legs and applied the dots on the hood. I was so excited to put him in his costume. Halloween day I was trying to talk Brennan into going trick or treating at 4 pm, but he advised me that was too early. Even when we stepped out the door at 5:00 we didn't see another trick or treater in sight (for a good hour almost) and it was sunny and bright outside. We hit about 10 houses and talked to some of our good neighbor friends. A few of our neighbors went all out! One had a spook alley in their garage. I thought Geddy would cry, but he seemed intrigued. Another handed out cotton candy that they had just spun and had a real live photo booth where you got your picture taken. Geddy has a nasty cough and cold and therefore he wasn't our normal smiley boy like we like. I had so much fun, I felt like a kid again. I can see how/why people relive their childhood through their children, it's hard not to be a kid again!
I like how his octopus legs stick out of his stroller and he's holding his candy bag! He held on to it tight! And he likes candy, but of course I didn't let him suck on that sucker for more than a few minutes. I was getting a little freaked out by how much he liked it and would cry when I took it away!

Skeletor

We finally got out the Halloween decorations this morning and Geddy's favorite was Skeletor. I seemed to recall this was Roxi's favorite too (or maybe I just liked to chase her around the house and scare her with it!) It kind of has a creepy face - but we think it's pretty cool! I love this skeleton mom.
Yup, it's hand tastes pretty good too!
If you look closely at this one (click to enlarge) you can see that Geddy is getting his top teeth. His left tooth is just barely starting to poke through!
I like to poke his squishy eyes!
Oh no Mom, does Skeletor have to go night night?

Halloween Fun at Gardner Village

This past week we got out of the house and went to Gardner Village (my friend Allison was so nice to invite us :).
Geddy liked looking at everything and being in all the commotion!
(He enjoyed eating the hay - of course!)

I think he looks like his daddy...

If there were two of us

Did that title scare you? Did you think I was pregnant? Man I only wish! I have to admit that since I have been so blessed with Geddy I ALMOST forgot that one of the trials in life that Heavenly Father has given me is infertility. I am more content and happy with Geddy than I could have EVER imagined; but I do admit I have those days where I long and think of more children, and the possible brother (or sister) that is patiently waiting up in Heaven for Geddy and us!

Tonight we got a FUN glimpse of what it would be like to have two! This is my friend Stacy's adorable little boy, he's just 7 weeks younger than Geddy. They got along great. They played, and crawled, and giggled and got into a lot of trouble (not really.) It was so much fun "having two," but I do admit it was a lot of work and it was only for a few hours! I don't know how my friend with triplets does it!

> When I would sit on the floor and one boy would crawl over and start climbing on me, the other boy had to get in on the action too...so I would have two boys climbing all over me. It was so funny. I caught them attacking me on video camera too! I was laughing my head off!
