Two Teeth!

I never thought anything could be cuter than my toothless little baby, but I was wrong! Geddy has two teeth (just popped out over the past week), and they are the cutest thing I have ever seen.... :)

Mr. Turtles

I think we have a silly little comedian on our hands...future class clown maybe? Ahhh, following in his father's footsteps!

Are You My Daddy?

Brennan shaved his head on Saturday. Geddy's reaction was the funniest thing. We both walked in to get him from his bed after his nap, with a little smile he groggily looked up at us, and then looked away, and swiftly turned his head again to look at the "strange man" standing beside me. He then proceeded to cry!!! It was the funniest thing I have ever seen. Brennan said he probably was scared of the strange man who happened to have his dad's voice coming out of his mouth! He got use to Daddy's new "do" after a few minutes!

"Whose this strange man holding me Mama?"

"Oh, I get it now, it's my favorite Daddy!"

Bear Lake

We had a wonderful time in Bear Lake with my Family. We got to spend time with my sisters, Jerica and Breanna. It was tons of fun! Geddy was a good boy, but he was teething, so he was a little fussy during the nights. Overall he was a trooper, and he LOVED riding on the boat. The second the engine roared on it would knock him out!
The view from Big Bear Cabin was fantastic!

Geddy playing in his turtle! I love this floaty device, because our nickname for Geddy is "Mr. Turtles."

Grandpa and Geddy spending some snuggly time!

Cute step-mom Lila, the "crazy knitting fool."

Aunt Jerica and maybe some day "Uncle Mike." (???)

Sassy Aunt Breanna.

Just Us

Today I took some pictures of Just Us! Imagine that. Geddy was down napping and it was just us!

(Yes, I am sure Brennan would want me to provide the disclaimer that I did indeed use my hair straightener on him today!)

Doing Big Boy Things

Geddy was a big boy tonight and tried scrambled egg yolks and he really liked them! I had to laugh at the mess that was all over, and thought to myself "so this is why my friends have food all over their floors." :) :)

Tonight Lil' G took his first big boy bath in the tub! He very much enjoyed laying on his stomach and having the whole BIG tub to himself!
(Thank you son for conveniently placing the rubber ducky)

My Sad Little Garden

This is my second year growing the garden and it's just as frustrating as the last! I am only growing 3 plants, I can't mess them up that bad right? Wrong! I have squash bugs that I am at war with every day, my tomatoes are all split and the leaves are curled up (someone at church that I talked to yesterday said this was due to lawn fertilizer being sprayed nearby on a very HOT day). I am just at at a loss as to what to do with this garden. It's VERY frustrating. Maybe I am not cut out for this gardening stuff. Or maybe I just want it to be simple and very low maintenance and it's not (at least my garden is not!) I see many pretty, fruitful, amazing gardens out there! I just don't know how you do it folks!

My sad little crop! Look at those ugly tomatoes! It would be okay if they were ugly but still tasted yummy like good garden tomaotes, but I had one the other day, and they had an okay flavor but the texture was yucky like the ones at the store! Humph...
